Mr. R. Hal Moorman has been Board Certified in Civil Trial law since 1994 and Estate Planning law since 1989 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. In addition to his role on the TBLS Board of Directors, Mr. Moorman is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) where he serves as Texas State Chair and as a member of the Fiduciary Litigation Committee. He is also a Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
Mr. Moorman graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1971 with a degree in Civil Engineering. He graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law, cum laude, in 1976.
Mr. Moorman has been on The U.S. News Media Group & Best Lawyers’ list of “The Best Lawyers in America” since 2001 and the named the Texas Monthly “Super Lawyer” since 2003. He is also a frequent continuing legal education speaker and lecturer.
